About First Score Sport

Who we are

First Score Sport was founded in 2024 by a three-person editorial team with combined 22 years of experience in sports wagering and commercial sports-trading. Our Senior Crypto Betting Analyst, Derek Ambrose, leads product testing. All rankings on the site are signed off by Derek and the two co-founders before publication.

We are a small team by design. Publishing sportsbook reviews only makes sense when the people writing them have actually placed bets at the books in question — and the reality is that a single analyst can only properly test a few dozen operators a year. Scaling up to hundreds of "reviews" would require writers who have never touched the products, which is exactly the pattern we started this site to avoid.

What we do

We test, rank, and recommend Bitcoin sports betting sites. Our primary audience is US adults (21+) who want to use cryptocurrency as a wagering rail and who want an honest, evidence-based assessment of which offshore sportsbooks are worth their money. We publish:

• Editor-led rankings of the best Bitcoin sportsbooks, updated quarterly.
• Individual in-depth reviews based on real-money testing.
• Practical guides on deposits, withdrawals, bonus mechanics, tax implications, and legal status.
• A published ranking methodology that you can audit against our writeups.

How we fund this site

First Score Sport is supported by affiliate commissions from the sportsbook operators we review. When you click through a tracked link from our site and fund an account, we may earn a commission from the operator. You pay nothing extra; the operator's marketing budget covers the payment.

This model is standard across the entire sportsbook review industry. What distinguishes us is what we do with it:

• Commissions never influence rankings. Operators cannot pay to rank higher. We have turned down money multiple times to keep this position.
• We test with our own money. Every ranking begins with a real deposit from our own bankroll, not with a bonus account the operator provides.
• We disclose affiliate relationships on every page. You will see an affiliate disclosure at the top of every ranking or review article.
• We will remove operators mid-contract if they fail testing. Three operators have been removed from our list since launch.

How we handle operator outreach

Operators cannot pitch us for better rankings. We do not accept gifts, travel, hosted testing accounts, or "fam trips" to casino jurisdictions. The only operator communication we entertain is fact-checking requests (e.g. "your review says our bonus rollover is 10x, it is actually 8x as of last week") which we verify independently before correcting.

Responsible gambling commitment

Sports betting is entertainment for most people and a serious problem for some. We take this seriously.
